Poly coated paper sheets suitable for direct contact with food. Our poly-coated paper for deli and butchers is a complex mix of paper and polyethylene used extensively in the food market (PE paper achieved through the extrusion coating method is used for various applications for wrapping food products, boxes, dona cups and plates). Like duplex paper, our special polycoated paper is normally used on delicatessen counters for wrapping cheese slices, cold meat and fish but can be used with any other fresh food products characterized by high humidity and presence of grease or oil. Commonly available in weights ranging from 40 – 69 gsm, this speciality paper is mainly used for a wide range of culinary applications.
PE paper is suitable for direct contact with all types of food (cheese, cookies, pizza, hot dog, fish, meat, burger, sandwich, fried food, deli items and greasy products) and is perfect for wrapping wet products (its moisture resistant properties offer versatile uses for butchers, restaurants, delis and grocery stores).
